Distinguished Service Medal EIIR Civilian Service the Long Service & Good

the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (Army) is awarded to members of the British Army who have completed 15 years of reckonable service

It was later made available to equivalent ranks in the RN and Army for acts of valour in the air

Instituted January 2007 and awarded for 40 days continuous service or aggregate service of 40 days in a calendar year for a minimum of 48 hours

Velvet Colour - Standard is Black but you can select from Red

Distinguished Service Medal EIIR Civilian Service the Long Service & GoodAwarded less frequently than the other issues of the DSM, this award was discontinued in 1993 following the review of the honours system and replaced with the Distinguished Service Cross
