It's stellar performance isn't surprising, since it was selected by the late German plant guru, Karl Foerster. Sempervivum 'Silber Karneol' forms a dense mat of fast offsetting cinnamon red rosettes, which range in size from . 5 to 2. 5" wide. We love this in our rock garden where the rosettes knit tightly together.
