Kurayoshi 12 Year Old Pure Malt Whisky 'Bourbon' Finished in rum casks andThis is the 12 year old Kurayoshi expression a blended malt from the little known Matsui Shuzou distillery in Japan's Tottori Prefecture. These whiskies are made with malts sources from Scotland, then blended with Japanese whisky and volcanic rock filtered water. (Tasting notes from Masters of Malt) Nose: Flamed orange peel and lemongrass, with a touch of rye bread dough. Palate: Aromatic barley with a floral edge, develops a fruity core of apple and
