Anyone else using an alvey side cast reel with their bait launcher set ups? I noticed a good bit more difference in distance compared to my spin reel set up

On this lighter tackle even a just-legal kingfish will give the angler and the tackle a good workout, although being relatively short (6’3”), the rod offers the angler a reasonable amount of leverage
